The most typical cause is something blocking the access. Here are some things to try and check.
1. Go to the Admin Console to see if it can download from the online archive.
2. Try running the IM console from a different system or after logging in to a different hub.
3. Remote into the system hosting the IM Manager and use nslookup to look up the IP address of the main and archive sites.
'nslookup support.nimsoft.com'
'nslookup archive.nimsoft.com'
4. use telnet to test the connection over port 80 using the IP address from #3.
Example:
telnet <ip_address>:80
5. Verify login to http://support.nimsoft.com
6. Verify you have the credentials configured in the IM under Tools->Options work.
7. Check if the local firewall is blocking the connection:
Depending on OS:
- Windows firewall
- Linux iptables is disabled/flushed
- SELinux is disabled
8. Reinstall the appropriate version of the IM manager for your version of Nimsoft.
