Issue/Introduction

Broadcom emailed us new LMP Site Keys today.  However, when applying the new Keys we are receiving the CAS9125E error message:

CAS9115I - INPUT: PROD(TZ) DATE(30JUN20) CPU(SITE-/12345678) LMPCODE(*********
CAS9125E - INVALID DATA: CPU SERIAL NOT 6 CHARACTERS

Environment

  • CA Common Services for z/OS
  • CA CIS for z/VSE

Cause

Incorrect information in CPU definition

Resolution

An example of the correct format for the CPU statement when using LMP Site Keys follows:

PROD(TZ) DATE(30JUN20) CPU(*SITE-*/12345678) LMPCODE(xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx)

Note that this format will allow you to enter the full 8-character Siteid to the right of the / (slash) character.
