Issue/Introduction

Installation option in Generate Business System is not working in the Host encyclopedia properly.


We made changes to the EAB object in the chgman package, there were no changes to the CA Gen code. So usually we just install option to link edit the new load from the CHGMAN package into the main module. But the install is not picking the new load at all, in fact the load module does not contain the EAB object at all. 


Install option was working fine last week, and it stopped working in this week and we are not able to identify the cause. 

We have generate the Pstep or the Action Block to make sure new load of the EAB is link edited. Now what we don’t understand if it’s the issue with all the EAB’s.

Release : 8.6 or older releases

Resolution

Customer needed to install the calling programs that have calls to the EAB or use the correct NCAL load containing the call to the EAB.
