Issue/Introduction

When remotely monitoring a WebSphere MQ manager on IBM AS400 (iSeries), how do we run the commands to set the security requirements to monitor MQ objects as outlined in the following link?

The setmqaut commands are not available on the AS400/iSeries platform.

 

Environment

APM 10.x, 11.x Java Agent

IBM WebSphere MQ Series on AS400 (iSeries)

Cause

The setmqaut commands are not available on the AS400/iSeries platform.

Resolution

You need to use the GRTMQMAUT command in the AS400/iSeries MQ to grant the same permissions. See the following link for details:
